My family spent a year in a rented house up the street on Victoria across fm Joey's home. I recall he was full of life, talked like James Dean, loved the Three Stooges and his sister sang like Tammy Wynette. Most of all I liked that we'd be invited over to the Nadeau's to watch T.V. a crowded living room with all the other kids in the neighbourhood. The year was 1955 and most homes didn't have a television yet.

We went different ways after that year, but Joey always greeted me when we crossed paths, scratching his head of reddish locks asking, "You guys got T.V. Yet?"

Rest in Peace and the face of the Lord shine on you, Joey, just as that old Sylvania tube did!
