My Dear & Precious Friend Linda,

Linda and I were kindred spirits.  She will be in my heart always and one day, we will meet again in heaven for eternity!

She was the most vivacious gal I know!  From Harrop to Nelson and back and then in Kelowna, what memories!

My deepest sympathy to Linda's family and friends. We now have another Angel in Heaven!

From high school days, I remember vividly and fondly a beautiful, kind and vibrant lady with gorgeous red hair. A few years ago I saw her at Rocky Point Dog Park and recognized her immediately. We had a great chat and reminiscence. Wish we had another chance to meet again.

SHOCKER!!!!!   Knew her since grade 5 in Central School when we were classmates in Mr Costain's class. Reconnected with her years after we graduated and stayed in touch. She attended several of our annual Halloween bashes. Linda confided in me that in high school that not many of the boys asked her out.  She was 6ft tall and gorgeous....guess the guys were intimidated.  God we were idiots!

Gone too soon.  She will be missed

Never miss the opportunity to say hello to anyone.  After our reunion I had received a message from Linda .  I had not seen her since graduation.  I commented in my response to her about the young lady I knew in those days.  Always a bright cheery spirit and I had hoped to say hello again one day.  I missed the opportunity to do so  and now regret that I will never have that opportunity.  Lindas passing has driven that message home.NEVER PASS UP THE OPPORTTUNITY TO SAY HELLO TO AN OLD FRIEND.  GOD BLESS.

I am glad I maintained membership n this website or I wouldn't know about events occurring. Unfortunately I missed the reunion in '13 as I was battling cancer for the fifth time in 7 years.

The news of Linda's death is personal and devastating to me. We went to the same church, Saint Saviors, and were members of the Anglican Young Peoples Association there. We had a lot of memorable events during those years.

I must advise Don Daniels that not all men were idiots and failed to date Linda because of her height. During my freshman and sophomore years, at what was then Notre Dame University, I dated her frequently and we attended many dances there together. Do y'all remember the duo of Eric and Eva who entertained on weekend nights at a hole in the wall on Baker Street. Great singers. We enjoyed them too.

The world is a much lesser place for having lost Linda far too young. I too remember a  beautiful woman with long flowing red hair and a smile and laugh that was unsurpassed. What a personality!!!

It is said that U.S. Marines seldom cry but this is one of those occasions and this grizzled old combat Marine has misty eyes writing this and there is no joy in Concord, Texas today. I will always remember Linda with fond memories.

Rest in Peace Linda and may you always have fair winds and following seas.

I am saddened by Linda's passing.  I was honored to be asked to take Linda to her graduation.  She came to a small gathering in Kitsilano around 1965.  I saw her one more time after that.  She was a beautiful girl and I hope that she had a good life in Vancouver.  Rest in peace Linda.  Don Rivers

I was sorry to hear of Linda's passing.  Linda, Phyllis & I were playmates in our early years.  I lived on Baker Street and Linda & Phyllis lived across the alley on Vernon Street.  I loved Linda's curly red hair.  I was hoping we could see each other at the reunion but I think she couldn't make it as I never saw her.  Linda was always very friendly and smiling.
