In The Mountaineer, LVR High School Yearbook for 1962, Blake was a member of the Gym Club. He also was a member of the Bombers Basketball team, according to the LVR Yearbook, The Mountaineer, 1964, as well as a member of the Ski Club. So, Blake was not only an active person, but he was involved with LVR High School Sports.
