A very special man!  I loved our many visits over a cup of tea in our kitchen after his treatments here in Kelowna.  He loved to dance, was a great cook, wine maker and his huckleberries made the best jam. We think of him often with fond memories.  Bonnie and Mike

My hubby Joe remembers Quinto for his soccer ability - they played in the Nelson men's league together in the 1960's and Quinto introduced us to our first pizza experience in Spokane  when we were there for a game. We were saddened last year at Joe's reunion to find that Quinto was no longer with us.

I remember Quinto as being like a ray of sunshine.  He could light up a whole room when he walked in, he just had that kind of personality, a warm and loving guy!  So sorry that you are not with us any more.  But, you can still "shine-on" at all of us from above, Quinto!  Thinking of Quinto makes me smile!

Quinto was a member of the LVR Boy's Soccer Rep Team,  as shown in the 1962 LVR Yearbook, The Mountaineer.  According to the write-up in the Yearbook, he was a team player and a strong and accurate kicker, and he was one of the strong forces pushing their team to victory.  He was also a member of the LVR Bowling Club in the 1964 Yearbook.

Rest in Peace, Quinto.

Prayers,

Pam LVR '64

When my mom...who is 88 years young this year...was still living in Nelson I drove my little vintage Porsche up to spend time with her every late spring. Years prior to Quinto getting sick Donny Amato, Quinto and I played golf every year at Castlegar

What a guy....Near the end when I called him he asked me to meet him at the Lake hideout Ispent a morning and early afternoon with him at his get away in Christina Lake above the hardware store cooking me breakfast and talking about the good old days... He knew his time was short we had a cry and a big hug and said good bye for the last time.. Miss you pal!!!   Love Blair
