Earl was a good friend and I am so sorry to hear he has passed away. We knew each other our whole lives in Nelson and renewed our friendship as adults when he joined the Lions Club. We worked on many community service projects together. Earl was a kind, thoughtful and genuinely good man. Many good memories my friend. RIP

I was stunned to hear of Earl's passing. We stayed in touch all these years and he never indicated he was having problems. We never missed each other's birthdays. His was 11/16 and mine 11/15 but he was a year older. I remember so many good times at his parents house in our younger years. Playing Hearts until late at night. Cooking moose steaks in the back yard. Then there was the great chicken raid of spring 1964 when we hit the NDU women 's dorm at 1AM and had 30 hens clucking and squawking all over the building and the women were going crazy and screaming. The statute of limitations for this has run out hasn't it LOL!
Earl was a great friend and a great human being. The world is a lesser place with him having left. Godspeed my friend and now you will always have fair winds and following seas
