ANNOUNCEMENTS

Greetings. I would like to take this opportunity to send a huge, heartfelt thanks to the LV Rogers 60th Reunion organizing committee for another very successful, fun-filled two days on September 12th and 13th. These folks took the time out of their busy lives to plan, organize and oversee all of the events that we were privy to. From the Meet-and-Greet at the Prestige, to the Beer Garden and Spirit Bar at the Hume. Their work and energy is unprecedented. You all have to agree with me that we would not have these Reunions without them. I, personally am very grateful to the Committee and anyone else who volunteered. And, especially, thank you to the Martins for giving us access to the amazing ambiance of the Hume Hotel, where we danced, shared stories, remembrances, laughed and cried. I think everyone had a good time. I know that I did and I am so looking forward to the next one. 2033 might be a bit far away, but let's throw our support behind our Committee and volunteer to do whatever we can to have another get-together sooner, rather than later - 2025 maybe? I missed a few folks that I wish could have attended, however, I understand that things get in the way - fears, tears and heartbreak. Wish you were here though. We all missed you. A huge thanks to all who came. Without our attendance there would be no folks with whom to reunite, would there? I encourage you all to plan for the next event. You won't be sorry. Charlie the Photographer managed to take a bunch of candid shots which the Committee will soon post. To the friends and family of those resting in peace - we loved them too. Know that. Know that we hold them in high esteem and we feel your sorrow, and send our deepest condolences and our blessings. My sincere gratitude and deep respect to all, Polly.
